Los Rios Hope - Homepage graphicFounded in the Fall of 2007, the HOPE center at Los Rios Community College District continuously seeks to improve the quality of student life and learning through ongoing improvements to our health occupations programs, services and facilities. We have identified three primary objectives: Enlightening students about the broad variety of opportunities available to them in the health care professions; Helping Health Care students complete their training programs; and Outreach to potential new Health Care students with an additional special focus on high school students.

If you are fortunate enough to enroll in a Health Career training program in the Los Rios District, you will find new friends and you will also find that you have a team of people working to help you achieve your career goals.

The HOPE Center is a hub of free academic support and tutoring services which are available to students enrolled in Health Occupation Programs or considering a career in a health profession. The center has three primary goals: to broaden the horizons of students regarding opportunities for careers in a variety of allied health programs, to support currently enrolled students of nursing and allied health programs, and to recruit and prepare high school students to explore healthcare careers and promote readiness for community college programs.
